I have the same question Sign into the Windows Store with the same account that already own Minecraft for Windows Restart your computer. When you go back to Minecraft on the Store, it should say "You own this product.
If you are on the same Store account as the one that owns Minecraft it should unlock the full version for free. Hope this helps. NOTE: I myself have done this. If you are concerned about your saves, then you will have to move them manually. Enter %appdata% as a folder address, blogger.comaft and you’ll see your saves and resource packs.
